A York Georgian Festival first… we are taking over the streets of York!

The ‘promenade’ dates back to the 16^th Century, however this tradition evolved to a public display of ‘status’ by the 18^th Century, as one strolls through beautiful streets and parks. Dress in your finest Georgian attire as we come together to celebrate this tradition and take a leisurely stroll from Clifford’s Tower to York Mansion House this Summer!
